Adam Andrascik (Pittsburgh, 1984), another jewel of the central saint martins mine of london, made his debut as the creative leadership of the legendary guy laroche in a renewed attempt of the firm to promote its image. A f/w prêt-à-porter collection that reconsiders each basic unit of design from a deconstructive, guerrilla and dramatic perspective.

The starting point of the collection is black, although deep blues or blood red can be observed as a strong alternative, dark and deep neutrality that contrasts with the originality of the compositions, the reconstruction from shreds and perfectly joined textures. An originality that pushes the limit of the unbelievable. Within this interesting association game, it emphasises the metallic aspect of the stitch in aluminum and gold tones, providing the beat of the parade of these victorious fighters in their way back, some of them even calligraphed like the leather of peter greenaway’s characters. Hyperbolic waists with square clasps and asymmetries make up the compass, the inevitable nod to the aesthetic inherited by the designer from a great house on the quest for new horizons.
