The show recreates breakfast time in a traditional brasserie called gabrielle. The protagonists of our story parade around the oval bar, story that smells like “the following morning”, because the blinding light does not belong to these places, unless we are the ones that perceive it in that way after one long “night before”.
Indeed, while some models make their entry in a fresh morning attitude, wrapped in comfortable and voluminous feather coats with soft tartan skirts, boyfriend jumper, woolen capes and parkas with some embroideries and lurex embellishments, a small group is heading straight for the bar wearing suspicious pleated chiffon nighties as dresses and bib necklaces, sharing confident laughs.
It is impossible to have a glimpse of any storyline in the designs that exceed the eighty suggestions with absolute freedom, except for the constant of the two-colours slingback shoes: an historical rescue. Moreover, some clients let the tea stand showing off flounces at the ankle, or mosaic fabrics, in front of others that glance at the pages of the newspaper, all of them looking like something straight out of a 60s boutique, the legendary tweed jacket on the shoulders, laps of pearls necklaces and camellias on the neck.
